The KRATOS high strength AEG piston was developed from over 2 years of R&D with a mission to create the best Airsoft AEG piston at all costs. In collaboration by our lead techs at Evike Performance Shop, engineers at Angel Custom, and our friends at Umbrella Armory, the KRATOS is engineered to meet the demands of Airsoft technicians and enthusiasts worldwide.

Careful consideration was put into which materials were selected to get the most out of the piston in high-performance tuning. Key features, such as the angle in which the teeth are cut, the coating on the teeth rack, and the overall piston length were carefully considered in order to provide a piston design that can withstand the rigors and abuses of high-performance AEG builds.

The KRATOS piston has been stress tested by industry experts, withstanding 100,000+ rounds of continuous fire with barely any signs of wear, holding up to high RPS and high power custom builds, and making its way into the gearboxes of some of the best custom builds on the market.

About Angle of Engagement (AOE):
AOE refers to the angle of the Sector Gear teeth when making contact with the teeth on the piston. As cycle speeds increase in a tuned up gearbox build, it™s important to adjust this angle to improve contact between these teeth. AOE correction / adjustment simply means the angle of the initial sector gear tooth and the beginning teeth on the piston rack will be close to parallel, making sure that the faces have firm contact before applying load. This adjustment improves parts durability, longevity and performance in higher-stress builds (high cycle rate / high spring tension).
